Hey, I’m Garrett. I’ve been creating content for as long as I can remember, it’s the thing I’d do whether or not anyone was paying me for it. I started Porter Media in 2024 with a camera and a simple conviction: the home service companies doing the best work in Tampa Bay were getting beat online by competitors who just looked better. That’s a fixable problem. So I built a company to fix it.
I’m obsessed with this work because I genuinely love helping businesses grow and stand out. When you hire Porter Media, you get a dedicated team, thinking about how your brand shows up. Not a project manager reading a brief. Not a rotating junior creator. That founder-led, hands-on attention is the whole point, and it’s something the bigger agencies structurally can’t offer.
I run this business on faith and family, the same foundation a lot of the trades owners I work with built their companies on. It keeps the work honest: show up, do excellent work, treat people right, and let the results speak.
Porter Media is Tampa-based and built entirely around Tampa Bay’s home service trades. I understand this market: the seasonality, the neighborhoods, the customers, because it’s home.
